Challenges of ICT in Mathematics Education
- we have numerous ruler area in the nation. The facility of internet is not so good in rural area.
- Nepal is on of the developing country and having constraint to invest in ICT.
- The main challenges is lack of proficient course ICT facilitator, lack of infrastructures, ICT friendly building lab, furniture, E-library, internet, projector, computer, laptop, cellphone.
- Lack of ICT mathematics pedagogy, laziness, lack of motivation and lack of readiness activities.
- School do not has physical as well as equipment infrastructure for ICT integration in mathematics.
- Teacher do not have basic knowledge and skill of using computer and mathematics software as well.
- ICT instructed pedagogy is need technical support to the teacher but lack of the training.
- There is no separators curriculum of the ICT in the mathematics instruction and not include ICT in mathematics education.
- Condition of Nepal, lack of awareness of using ICT in mathematics instruction is not enough as a demand of time.
- Many more rural areas people has poor economic status so, students do not has access to ICT equipment in learning.
