Challenges in ICT

Challenges of ICT in Mathematics Education

  1.  we have numerous ruler area in the nation. The facility of internet is not so good in rural area.
  2.  Nepal is on of the developing country and having constraint to invest in ICT.
  3.  The main challenges is lack of proficient course ICT facilitator, lack of infrastructures, ICT friendly building lab, furniture, E-library, internet, projector, computer, laptop, cellphone.
  4. Lack of ICT mathematics pedagogy, laziness, lack of motivation and lack of readiness activities.
  5.  School do not has physical as well as equipment infrastructure for ICT integration in   mathematics.
  6. Teacher do not have basic knowledge and skill of using computer and mathematics software as well.
  7.  ICT instructed pedagogy is need technical support to the teacher but lack of the training.
  8. There is no separators curriculum  of the ICT in the mathematics instruction and not include ICT in mathematics education.
  9.  Condition of Nepal, lack of awareness of using ICT in mathematics instruction is not enough as a demand of time.
  10.  Many more rural areas people has poor economic status so, students do not has access to ICT  equipment in learning.
